9:15 – 10:45: O2222 and DER Implementation
This panel will discuss the ongoing implementation of FERC’s Order No. 2222 and its focus of integrating distributed energy resources into RTO markets. Panel participants will provide unique perspectives on state regulatory processes, retail aggregation and participation, and distribution utility preparations. See Speaker Bios
11:00 – 12:30:Gas-Electric Coordination
With increased winter extreme weather events in the Midwest, Gas-Electric coordination is once again a critical topic. This panel will focus on challenges faced by gas Local Distribution Companies, electric gas fired generators, reliability organizations, and Regional Transmission Organizations. The panel will discuss and provide updates on the gas-electric coordination efforts that have been underway over the past several years, including the efforts of the Gas-Electric Harmonization Forum at the North American Energy Standards Board, NERC, RTOs and FERC. Particular attention will be placed on efforts by ReliabilityFirst, MISO and PJM to address these challenges. See Speaker Bios

2:00 – 3:45: Legal and Regulatory Developments in the Midwest Region
The EBA Midwest Board has worked to identify a “liaison” in each state in our footprint. That individual will help keep the Board informed of pertinent legal and regulatory developments in their respective state, and will also help educate local members about Chapter activities and benefits. During this panel, each liaison will give an informal update on items of interest from their respective state. The individuals invited include liaisons from MN, WI, NE, IA, IL, KS, MO, MI, IN and OH.
